Shenzhen Health & Wellness Fair

Fun, Community-oriented and family-friendly, the Shenzhen Health & Wellness Fair is a vibrant event showcasing leading names in Shenzhen and Guangdong wellness, nutrition, and fitness with 30+ businesses and organizations represented November 9th at Vista-SK International Medical Center.
There will be 20+ activities, classes, workshops & talks held throughout the day, as well as vendors with products to support your healthy lifestyle, a delicious food court and a kid’s activity area.
Vista-SK’s “POP-UP” Wellness Center will be back, where you can try out acupuncture, chiropractic services, Traditional Chinese Medicine, physiotherapy, plus do a mini health checkup, and have a chat with our general medicine doctor about preventive health… all for free!

Let’s turn the same re-used materials into an art installation. Make your own artistic expression of “What brings me joy” on the “re-used material” tags, whether using words, a drawing, a poem… totally up to you… then attach it to the frame on the day as part of a community art installation.

For the craft enthusiast’s and designers out there, why not challenge yourself by re-using the same advertising banners to create a cool bag!
All crafter’s are welcome to bring some of their own objects to add to the design. Basic craft supplies will be available, as well as the main material for the eco-design challenge… plastic advertising banner material.

10am-11am Strongman Course with Lift On
Strongman Course – Strongman is about moving large and heavy objects similar to those in real life. We focus on true functional strength and conditioning.
Lift On – Shenzhen’s only Strongman Studio & Professional Fitness food center!
11am-12noon Pole Fitness (next to main Activity Area) with B.Love
A 60 minute trial class to practice beginner pole tricks. The 60 mins will include a 15 minute warmup and a 5 minute cool down with tutorial of different beginner pole tricks and spins, such as the fireman spin, and a fan kick. We will also learn about the fundamental of pole tricks. Pole fitness and dance is a whole body workout with an emphasis on building upper body strength.
B.Love – I am a pole fitness instructor here in Shenzhen. I teach pole-fitness and pole dance Sunday’s at a local pole studio in Futian. Pole fitness is a new fun way to stay fit, mentally and physically. It is a great confidence boost and a challenge for the body. I’ve been practicing pole for 5 years. I started my pole career in South Korea and continued my practice in the USA. I am an advocate for Pole fitness being for every body, no matter the age or size.
11am-12noon InsideOut Barre (main Activity Area) with Francis
Barre fitness is a fusion between ballet, yoga and pilates. Participants wear activewear similar to that worn in yoga classes, and do the exercises either in bare feet or in socks. It is a full body balanced workout combining strength conditioning cardio and mindfulness. It is high intensity low impact, safe for any fitness level.
12noon-1pm HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) with AnaFit & Lazy Laowai
AnaFit Anastasia Lytvynenko, known in her field as ANA FIT, is an elite fitness professional, two-time bodybuilding and fitness world champion and certified trainer with 10 years of coaching experience in fitness, boxing, basketball, Crossfit, bodybuilding, and strengthening, conditioning, fat loss and gain methods, and is a certified nutrition professional.
Lazy Laowai is a sports, health and fitness community for the people, by the people. It’s no secret that there is a demand for affordable fitness, a motivated community, and a better understanding of what Shenzhen has to offer for sustaining a healthy lifestyle.
We aspire to maintain a platform that guides members to overcome barriers and fulfill their physical potential while staying on track with personal goals.
1pm-2pm RnB Line Dancing Class with Sparkles Fitness

2pm – 3pm Zumba Fitness with Svetlana
