Travelers Tuesdays

Recurring Event see all

November 17, 2020 @ 8:00 pm 9:30 pm

“The world is a library, and those who haven’t traveled have only read 1 page!” For over 10 years, Li Ba traveled the world (with his dog, Monster) and was able to live in/visit 35 nations across 5 continents.  He’s had many funny/exciting/dangerous/beautiful adventures that he is happy to share with you and would like to hear about yours as well.  In addition, Li Bai is the founder and CEO of Dream Travel Therapy, an international group of psychologists who use travel as a method of therapy. We will invite guest speakers from various nations around the world to speak in person or live over the internet. From New York the city that never sleeps (and Li Bai’s home city) to the Eiffel Tower of Paris, and from the natural beauty of the Grand Canyon to the Leaning Tower of Pisa – if you love travel, this is for you! Share your own travel videos and experiences with an eager audience or listen to the adventures of other world-wise travelers to get a glimpse of regions you haven’t visited (yet?)  Perhaps you are looking for first-hand information about a specific destination or need travel advice from an experienced tourist?  This is a discussion group based on all things related to travel, including the various ways to travel  from Eco-tourism to 5 star luxary resorts, from back packing & camping to RVing and staying with locals to get the full, authentic flavor of the place.  (And speaking of flavor, how about all the delicous foreign foods!)  We will discuss good ways to save money, dangerous places to avoid, lesser known, out of the way gems that shouldn’t be missed and what ‘tourist traps’ to steer clear of. Bring a friend and join the fun!
